Working for groupmapping

Groupmapping is a creative consultancy that specialises in delivering tangible results through group interventions. At Groupmapping I work in the facilitation team, helping senior management to achieve their goals. I have been doing this for 4 years and have facilitated about 20 group interventions. It is always fun and different every time. We always work with a cartoonist, and after my first session the team gave me this drawing as a thank you.

Each group session is held at a different location for a different company. This means that the goal and scope are different each time, as are the obstacles and challenges.
One time we have a group of 250 people and a team of 15 where we are helping a company develop its new strategy, and the other time I am supporting a leadership course with a colleague. Each time I learn something new and develop my skills, and I love it. Working with people who have been in collaboration design for so long is very rewarding as I get to learn all their tips and tricks that they gathered along the way. During these group events the team is one team, it is a well-oiled machine because we prepare it so well in advance during our preparation days.

During the sessions we often 'scribe' important conversations that take place, which means you give visual feedback to the clients by writing and drawing on a whiteboard. In the picture on the left, I was asked to scribe a summary whiteboard for the leadership course I was facilitating.
